Optimize Supply Chain Operations with Dash Enterprise
MIT Global SCALE Network’s Ningbo China Institute for Supply Chain Innovation (NISCI) wanted to make their data solutions more accessible and engaging for practitioners. Through Dash Enterprise, the team deployed two full-featured data apps that enabled interactive visualization and analysis, an LCL (Less than Container Load) loading app, and a multi-channel distribution design app.

➡️ Fraud Detection Dash App Community Challenge — The community challenge for this month is centered around fraud detection. The challenge involves developing a Dash application that provides credit card usage data visualization along with a fraud prediction feature. Evaluation criteria include usage of Plotly graphs, app design (layout, style, ease of use), data exploration and data analysis routines (e.g. numerical methods, machine learning, prediction, classification, optimization), and integration and quality of LLMs with the app. Submit your creation in the forum topic by Sunday, March 17 for a chance to win cash prizes.
➡️ Global Trade in Precious Metals and Gemstones App — Leveraging data from the UN Comtrade API, Tanya Lomskaya’s app visualizes the international flow of precious metals and stones. It features interactive maps with custom coloring, clickable insights, and detailed sortable tables, offering a comprehensive view of the industry. The app can highlight countries based on their trade connections, export-import balances, or regional affiliations. You can also uncover “unaccounted-for” trade links and territories. Start exploring the app.
➡️ Dash-LangChain App Building Challenge — We challenged the LLM builder community to develop large language models with LangChain and create front-end app interfaces for them with Dash. The apps that were submitted by the community went far and beyond our expectations!
